How do
I get my picks? |
| |
Our stock picks are posted
each night on our web site. You will be given a user name
and password when you sign up. You will use these to log
on to our site and view our stock picks for the next trading
day. You can see our stock pick history as well. |
| 2. |
When are the picks
posted? |
| |
The picks are posted
each night, Sunday through Thursday. We try to have them
posted by 5pm MST. The picks will be for the next trading
day. |
| 3. |
Do you give the buy
and sell price? |
| |
Yes. When the picks
are posted, we will give an entry price (buy) and an exit
price (sell). We will also list why we like it and why
we feel it is ready for a gain. |
| 4. |
How many picks do
I get each night? |
| |
We scan thousands of stocks
each night looking only for those that
have the highest probability of making
gains. Rather than throw a bunch of
stocks at you hoping one will be good,
we only pick one to two high quality
stocks. We put them all through the
ringer and then take only the top ones.
Again, we want the highest probability
we can get. |
 |
| 5. |
How long have you
been in business? |
| |
We have been in
business for 10 years. We have been offering our stock
picks on the Internet for 6 years. We feel we must be
doing something right. If we weren't we would have been
long gone by now. See our information page to see more about a1 stock picks. |
| 6. |
Where do I buy and
sell the stock? |
| |
You will buy and
sell the stock through a broker. We suggest using an on-line
broker. They are easy to use and are usually cheaper. |
| 7. |
What broker should
I use? |
| |
There are a fair
number of on-line brokers out there. We have great success
with Ameritrade.com. They are great to work with and charge
only $10 per trade. A lot of our customers also like and
use Scottrade.com. They charge only $7 per trade. Our
International customers use Lowtrades.com. You will have
to contact each one and see for yourself which one would
work out best for you. |
| 8. |
How much money do
I need? |
| |
| You can use any amount you like. However,
you need to keep in mind your broker
fees. You will have to pay your broker
each time you buy and sell a stock.
This will take away from your profits
and may eat up your entire gain. |
|
 |
| 9. |
How many stocks should
I buy? |
| |
It is important
to be diversified if you can. Instead of placing all your
money on one stock, spread it out among three separate
stocks. For example, if you had $3,000 to invest, place
$1,000 on three different stocks. When one sell, replace
it with another. |
| 10. |
How do I cancel? |
| |
All you need to
do is send us an e-mail saying you wish to cancel. Please
cancel before you subscription renews. Once you have canceled,
you will no longer be billed and your subscription will
expire on the following renewal date. If you do cancel,
we will send you back a conformation that your subscription
is indeed canceled. |
| 11. |
When should I sell?
|
| |
This is totally
up to you. You can wait for the stock to reach our suggested
selling price or keep the stock and start using a trailing
stop loss once it reaches the target. This will allow
you to get the most out of the stock and your investment.
You can also sell at a certain percent you have made you
own target. For example, you may want to trade stocks
more often while locking in on a lower percentage. You
may want to make your goal a 5 percent gain on each stock.
Do this 5 to 10 times per month and you would have a 25
to 50 percent gain each month on your investment. See our information on stock trading tips for more information. |
| 12. |
Should I use a stop
loss? |
| |
Yes. You should
always have a stop loss in place. This
will protect your investment from a
sudden sell off while you are not looking.
It also helps you to be disciplined
in selling a stock that is under performing.
We like to use an 11 percent stop loss. |
 |
| 13. |
Do you show all your
picks for the month in your history? |
| |
Yes. Every pick
we have picked for any given month is posted on our stock picks history
page for that month. We leave nothing out and we show
them all. We post the losers along with the winners. |
| 14. |
Do I need to cancel
before my subscription renews? |
| |
Yes. If you wish
to cancel, you need to do so before your subscription
renews. For example, say you signed up on the 10th of
the month. You need to cancel before the renewal date
of the 10th for any given month. If you canceled on the
13th, your subscription would have already been renewed
and your subscription will run until the next month and
then expire on the 10th. Once you do cancel, you will
no longer be billed. |
| 15. |
If I cancel in the
middle of my subscription, do I get a prorated refund?
|
| |
No. Your subscription
will be canceled and you will no longer be billed. However,
your subscription will run for the rest of the month until
it expires on your renewal date. |
| 16. |
Do I have to sit in
front of my computer all day? |
| |
No, not at all.
We will post our picks each night for the next trading
day. This will give you plenty of time to place your buy
order for the next trading day. You can use a limit order
to buy the stock the next day for the exact price you
want. Once you have purchased the stock, you can place
an order to sell at a certain price. All your transactions
will execute while you are away doing the things you need
to do. |
| 17. |
Do you really answer
every e-mail you receive? |
| |
Yes. We answer every e-mail
we receive. Usually the very same day we received it. |
